The Canadian Federal Government’s Misplaced Priorities: A Betrayal of Its People

As of July 31, 2025, the Canadian federal government under the leadership of Prime Minister Mark Carney has come under intense scrutiny for its apparent focus on international issues at the expense of domestic needs.
The framework laid by the previous Trudeau administration seems to have set the stage for a potential collapse of the Canadian financial system, raising troubling questions about the motives behind such a trajectory. Is this a deliberate move to benefit corporate giants like Brookfield Asset Management, where Carney once held significant influence? Or could it be part of a broader agenda to integrate Canada into a new World Government, potentially orchestrated by the European Union?
These speculations are fueled by a growing sense of discontent among Canadians who feel their government has lost sight of its primary duty: serving its own citizens.
A Legacy of Neglect: Trudeau’s Foundation for Collapse
The Trudeau administration, which governed for nearly a decade, prioritized global initiatives—climate accords, foreign aid, and international trade negotiations—over pressing domestic concerns like housing affordability, healthcare, and economic stability.
This shift in focus laid the groundwork for Carney, a former central banker with deep ties to global financial elites, to inherit a system already strained by mounting debt and inflation. Critics argue that Trudeau’s policies, including expansive government spending and reliance on corporate donors and lobbyists, weakened Canada’s economic resilience, leaving it vulnerable to collapse under Carney’s leadership.
Carney’s rise to power, following a landslide Liberal leadership victory in March 2025, has done little to reverse this trend. His background at Brookfield and his advocacy for global climate finance suggest a continuation of policies that benefit multinational corporations over Canadian taxpayers. The question lingers: is the financial system being undermined to consolidate power for corporate interests like Brookfield, or to align Canada with a supranational entity, potentially under European influence?
Deteriorating Canada-USA Relations: A Clash of Ideologies
The relationship between Canada and the United States has reached a historic low, driven not by substantive policy disputes but by a clash of political ideologies—liberals versus conservatives. The Trudeau administration’s progressive stance clashed with the conservative policies of U.S. President Donald Trump, whose tariff threats and annexation rhetoric have inflamed tensions. Carney’s leadership has only deepened this divide, with his retaliatory trade measures and nationalist rhetoric further straining ties with Washington.
This ideological battle has overshadowed the shared economic and security interests that once defined the Canada-USA partnership. Elected officials, instead of fostering cooperation, have exploited these differences for political gain, turning a bilateral relationship into a partisan football. The reality is that Canadian leaders should be focused on improving their nation’s infrastructure, economy, and social fabric, not engaging in ideological posturing that harms both countries.
Propaganda and Gaslighting: Attacking Canadian Citizens
More alarming is the Liberal government’s turn against its own people. Through biased propaganda and gaslighting, elected officials and their appointed senators have sought to silence dissent and manipulate public perception. Canadians struggling with rising costs of living and housing crises are told their concerns are exaggerated or misdirected, while the government pushes narratives that prioritize international image over domestic welfare. This tactic, supported by corporate donors and lobbyists who fund Liberal campaigns, undermines democratic accountability and erodes trust in the political process.Appointed senators, insulated from electoral pressure, amplify this agenda, rubber-stamping policies that benefit elite interests rather than the average Canadian. The result is a political class increasingly detached from the electorate, using its power to divide rather than unite.
Billions to Other Nations While Canada Suffers
Perhaps the most egregious example of this misaligned focus is Canada’s allocation of billions in foreign aid while its own citizens face hardship. Under both Trudeau and Carney, significant funds have been directed to international causes—climate initiatives, humanitarian aid, and trade diversification—while domestic issues like poverty, healthcare wait times, and infrastructure decay remain unresolved. This generosity abroad, often influenced by corporate lobbyists seeking global market advantages, has left Canadians questioning why their tax dollars are not addressing their own needs first.
The contrast is stark: a nation with a crumbling housing market and stagnant wages is sending billions overseas, a decision that smacks of political expediency rather than genuine benevolence.
This policy, championed by the Liberals with support from their corporate backers, highlights a government more interested in global prestige than national stability.
A Call for Accountability
The Liberal Party’s governance, bolstered by corporate donors, lobbyists, and unelected senators, has transformed Canada into a nation prioritizing international agendas over its own people. The potential collapse of the financial system under Carney’s watch—whether intentional or not—raises serious concerns about the influence of global elites and the possibility of a new World Government. Meanwhile, the politicization of Canada-USA relations and the use of propaganda against citizens reveal a government that has lost its way.Canadians deserve leaders who work to make their country better, not worse. It’s time to hold elected officials accountable, dismantle the influence of corporate interests, and redirect focus to the pressing needs at home.
The future of Canada depends on it.
