In the wake of the tragic mass shooting in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia, on February 10, 2026, where 10 people lost their lives—including the suspect—and 25 others were injured, Canadians are once again forced to confront a disturbing pattern. The suspect, identified as 17-year-old Jesse Strang, a trans man who reportedly began transitioning at age 15 and was prescribed SSRIs, fits into a growing narrative that's impossible to ignore. This isn't just another isolated incident; it's a symptom of deeper issues plaguing our society, fueled by Big Pharma's overreach, misguided school policies, and the radical elements within the trans and LGBTQ community. As conservatives, we believe in personal responsibility, family values, and protecting the innocent—especially our children. It's time to demand accountability and real solutions, not more virtue-signaling from liberal elites.
The Tumbler Ridge Tragedy: A Wake-Up Call
Details from the Tumbler Ridge shooting paint a grim picture. Police initially described the suspect as a "female in a dress with brown hair," but local reports and social media investigations quickly revealed Strang's transgender identity. Strang, who practiced at a firing range and posted content featuring a transgender flag on YouTube, opened fire at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School and a nearby home, claiming lives and shattering a peaceful rural community. This attack, one of Canada's deadliest in history, echoes other high-profile mass shootings where perpetrators identified as part of the trans or LGBTQ community. From the 2023 Nashville Covenant School shooting by trans man Audrey Hale to the 2022 Colorado Springs Club Q incident involving nonbinary shooter Anderson Lee Aldrich, these events raise serious questions about underlying causes.
While liberals in Ottawa and mainstream media rush to blame guns or "toxic masculinity," the real culprits are staring us in the face: pharmaceutical interventions like SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) and hormone treatments, combined with societal pressures that confuse and radicalize vulnerable youth.
Big Pharma's Role: SSRIs, Hormones, and Bursts of Rage
Let's cut through the noise. Many of these shooters, including Strang, were on medications like Vyvanse, Concerta, or SSRIs—drugs handed out like candy to kids as young as 4 for conditions like ADD, ADHD, or oppositional defiant disorder. In Canada, schools too often push parents toward doctors who prescribe these without addressing root causes, such as inadequate support for behavioral issues. Studies have shown that SSRIs can increase the risk of violent behavior, especially in young people. A 2020 Swedish study found a 26% higher hazard of violent crime during SSRI treatment, with risks lingering up to 12 weeks after discontinuation.
Another analysis linked SSRIs to doubled risks of aggression in children and adolescents.
Add hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to the mix, often prescribed to transitioning youth, and the cocktail becomes even more volatile. Testosterone, a key component in female-to-male transitions like Strang's, has been associated with increased aggression in some cases.
While not every user experiences this, the side effects—mood swings, irritability, and rage—can push unstable individuals over the edge. Is it coincidence that a disproportionate number of recent mass shooters identify as trans or nonbinary?
These aren't random; they're side effects of a system that prioritizes "affirmation" over mental health.
Schools as Ground Zero: Confusion, Peer Pressure, and Predatory Tactics
The problem starts early. In Canadian schools, adults are confusing kids with gender ideology, pushing transitions under the guise of "inclusivity" and "equality." It's no different from peer pressure to try street drugs—same tactics, different pile. Predators use love and acceptance as lures, much like a stranger in a van with candy. Troubled kids acting out? Instead of real help, they're funneled to doctors for pills that numb emotions but ignite rage.
This isn't compassion; it's indoctrination. And when these kids grow into adults, the radicalization deepens. The trans/LGBTQ community has been hijacked by extremists who support terrorists, burn Canadian flags as "Queers for Palestine," and co-opt Indigenous causes like "Two-Spirit" people. Two-Spirit isn't about being gay or lesbian—it's a traditional Indigenous concept tied to clan spirits and lifeforce, often animal-related. Yet, radicals twist it for their agenda, dehumanizing anyone who disagrees.
Radical Behavior: From COVID Lockdowns to Antisemitism
Remember the COVID-19 era? LGBTQ activists attacked Canadians opposing lockdowns and mandates, holding signs like "Send the unvaccinated to the furnaces" or "Load the unvaccinated on trains"—echoing Nazi horrors. Today, they're at the forefront of Palestinian protests, invading Jewish communities, vandalizing businesses, and assaulting citizens while the government looks the other way. Then, they label conservatives as "far-right Nazis" or "racists." The hypocrisy peaks with the Liberal government's pro-LGBTQ stance: inviting a Nazi war criminal to Parliament for standing ovations, all while funneling billions to corrupt Ukraine.
This isn't equality; it's lunacy driven by hypochondriacs and Big Pharma profits. Prioritizing LGBTQ "values" over Canadian citizens' needs is ridiculous. Our governments must act.
Time for Action: Cancel Pride, Launch Inquiries, and Restore Sanity
Enough is enough. It's time to cancel Pride parades—events where adults flaunt nudity in front of children. Celebrating sexual preferences like a circus distracts from real issues. We need a public inquiry into the trans/LGBTQ community's radical elements, investigating links to violence, terrorism, and mental health manipulations. Hold Big Pharma accountable for pushing drugs that turn vulnerable people into time bombs. Ban hormone treatments for minors and rethink SSRI prescriptions without exhaustive alternatives.
Conservatives stand for strong families, safe communities, and truth over trends. The Tumbler Ridge shooting isn't just a tragedy—it's a call to protect our kids from a system that's failing them. Let's demand justice, not more parades.
